This is our home patch, made up of the business parks and industrial estates around Preston, Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Chorley. See our Preston page and Chorley page for local detail.
Along the M65 corridor there is a long manufacturing tradition: engineering firms, food and bakery producers, and textile-era mill buildings that now house several businesses under one roof. The work here is often process burners on ovens and dryers, older boiler plant in mill buildings, and heating for large single-storey units on newer estates such as Network 65 at junction 9 near Burnley. See our Blackburn page for Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn.
On the coast, the gas work is a mix of commercial buildings with large heating loads, manufacturing units, and the chemical and polymer businesses on the Hillhouse site at Thornton-Cleveleys. The aerospace and advanced engineering supply chain around Warton adds production halls and workshops to the mix.
To the north, White Lund Industrial Estate in Morecambe and the business areas around Lancaster and Heysham include manufacturing, food processing and distribution units that need boiler servicing, warm air and radiant heating, and gas safety inspections.
Around Clitheroe, Longridge and Whalley, we work with food and drink producers and manufacturing businesses, many of them in rural or converted buildings with their own heating and process plant.
We cover Ormskirk, Burscough and the surrounding area. For Skelmersdale, see our Wigan page.
Our base is close to where the M6, M61 and M65 meet, which puts most of Lancashire within easy reach. The M65 runs east to Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley. The M6 heads north to Lancaster, with the Bay Gateway link to Morecambe and Heysham. The M55 branches off the M6 to the Fylde coast, the A59 runs out to the Ribble Valley, and the M61 heads south to Chorley.
Many Lancashire businesses have more than one site, perhaps a factory in East Lancashire and a warehouse on the Fylde. We can put every site on one planned maintenance schedule, with one asset list and reports in the same format, so you can see where each site stands at a glance.
