If you smell gas, do this first
Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Keep people away, do not operate electrical switches and do not use naked flames. Open doors and windows if it is safe to do so. Once the emergency service has made the supply safe, we can trace and repair the fault and recommission the plant.
Breakdowns we attend
Boiler lockouts, process burners that will not light or keep tripping, gas interlock and ventilation faults that stop a production area or plant room from running, warm air and radiant heater failures in warehouses, and suspected leaks on internal pipework.
What to tell us when you call
The site address, the plant that has failed, any fault code or lockout light, and whether production is stopped. That lets us bring the right spares and give you an honest arrival time.
For the full list of what we do across the city, see our industrial gas engineer Preston page, or the general 24/7 emergencies & gas leaks page for the wider North West.
