Gas-fired process oven removal, Wigan
Gas-fired process oven removal in Wigan: a real SMR Gas job, told through our own photos from the site.
- Job type: Gas-fired process oven removal
- Location: Wigan
- Photographed: November 2025
The site
A heavy industrial unit in Wigan with a long gas-fired process line. Our photos show the line from end to end, a yellow gas main running its full length and a row of individual burner gas trains, each with its own valves and regulator, behind safety fencing.
The work
Our job sheet for November 2025 records this as an oven removal. Taking gas plant out of service means isolating it safely from the gas supply first, so the rest of the site can keep running.
Why it matters
Removing or changing gas-fired plant on a working site has to be done by an engineer who understands industrial gas trains and supplies, so the remaining plant is left safe.
